dc.description.abstract	The studied problem is caused by development of new methodological approaches to studying of reception and interpretation of antiquity historical heritage owing to what the hypothesis of creation and possibility of certain images of antiquity research in cultural practices of the USA at the end of 20th - the beginning of the 21st was made. Also in research the theoretical aspects of classical reception offered in the USA, mainly, in a foreign historiography of the last decade are considered and analyzed. The purpose of the article consists in representating images of antique history and culture, as well as their connotations in literature, political and educational practices of the USA on the verge of the 20-21st centuries.	ru_RU
