| Аннотация |
The paper aims deals with the EFL learning motivation of commencing students and introducing English Media in KFU Project at Kazan Federal University as means of maintaining and enhancing motivation throughout their academic years. The analysis is based on the research into learning motivation patterns and creating English-medium academic environment by Russian and international scholars as well as on regional and federal documents on the issue. The leading approach used by the authors is observation and classification of investigated material, interviewing, collecting, analyzing and synthesizing the data, received via interviews and survey. The authors come to the conclusion that English Media in KFU Project allows to successfully maintain a combination of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in order to sufficiently improve students' EFL proficiency and implement the concept of English-medium Instruction University. The materials of the research may be applied worldwide by university |
