Аннотация

Preservation, use, promotion and state protection of cultural heritage is one of the priorities of the state authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. The main goal is the preservation and protection of cultural heritage. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to have a stable regulatory framework. The foundation for this base in the Republic of Tatarstan was laid in the late twentieth century since the beginning of the active legislative process in the field of culture and protection of monuments, which continued in the early 2000s. The article deals with the activities in the field of protection of monuments in the Republic of Tatarstan at the present stage through the prism of the legal framework and norms contained in the Federal laws and codes of the Russian Federation, as well as regulatory legal acts that reveal the features of the policy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the protection of monuments in the XXI century. In addition, the article presents the main results of cultural and scientific cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan with the international intergovernmental organization UNESCO. The developed over the years system and the approach to work with international organizations have allowed the Republic to increase the level of protection of cultural heritage and contributed to the increase of qualified professionals with the necessary knowledge for the implementation of conservation activities. Started more than 20 years ago, the activity for the preservation of cultural heritage continues to develop, and will soon be continued, as today there is elaboration of the «Silk Road« transnational nomination.
