The study of the magnetization rearrangement in ferromagnetic micro- and nanostructures is associated with the necessity to fabricate media for the high-density storage of information and to reduce the energy required for information recording and processing. The studies of the magnetoelastic effect for the production memory cells, spin-valves and logic elements of
micro and nanoelectronics with the minimal energy consumption resulted in the appearance of a new research field, “straintronics” . |
