dc.description.abstract	The problem of the research is that there is an increase in migration processes in Russia and foreign countries. Many Russian and foreign universities study a large number of foreign students who come from various countries of Europe and Asia. In the new linguistic and socio-cultural environment, foreign students experience the processes of cultural deaptation, loss of language space, “culture shock”. A migrant student in a host society needs new experience of social interaction with others, establishing contacts on the basis of intercultural dialogue at various levels of adaptation: personal, interpersonal, intergroup. In this regard, the problem of determining the most effective technologies and practices of linguistic and socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students studying in Russian and foreign universities becomes urgent.	ru_RU
