This article analyses the main economic indicators of the manufacturing technology chain of the petrochemical complex in the Republic of Tatarstan, which includes the following vertically integrated types of economic activities: extraction of mineral resources; oil refining; chemical production; rubber and plastic products manufacturing. The authors carried out a simple linear regression analysis of the manufacturing technology chain development in the petrochemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. The article describes the approach that allows to investigate trends of mutual factors of labour and capital at different levels of the manufacturing technology chain in the petrochemical complex of the regional economy in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The authors come to the conclusion that the functioning of the manufacturing technology chain is the more efficient the more elastic the effect of the lower level of the chain on the development of the corresponding upper level.
