The article is devoted to the analysis of stylistic features of political advertising texts. The purpose of the analysis was to consider political advertising as a type of political communication. The article presents data on the communicative essence and structure of texts, functional features of such genres of political advertising as a leaflet, a slogan, some features of the formation of political advertising in recent years. The goal defined such tasks as the study of political advertising texts from the point of view of their belonging to political discourse, the study of the mechanism of the influencing function and the definition of genres of political advertising. The object of the study is such a type of communication as political advertising; the subject of the study is the language of a political leaflet and slogan.
