Multicultural Education Of Future Art Teachers In The Process Of Professional Training At The University // Res Militaris. - 2022. - Vol. 12. - Is. 2. Summer-Autumn. - P. 2000-2007. The article is dedicated to the pedagogical support of multicultural education of future art teachers in the process of professional training at the university. The relevance of the study is determined by the processes of globalization, the activation of academic exchanges and the entry of universities into the world educational space, the strengthening of migration processes and socio-cultural transformations. The need to respond to the demands of the time sets the professional education system the task of training an art teacher who has developed professional competencies, is ready to treat historical heritage and cultural traditions with respect and care, is tolerant of social, ethnonational and cultural differences, is capable of intercultural dialogue and actualization of the developing potential of multiethnic art culture in a multicultural educational space. The authors substantiate pedagogical support that actualizes the multicultural potential of academic disciplines and extracurricular creative activities of students, developing the capabilities of the digital educational and cultural environment as elements of a multicultural educational space. The key factor that increases the effectiveness of multicultural education of future art teachers in the process of professional training at the university is the content of the multicultural component of the educational material. It should reflect, on the one hand, the diversity of national musical and artistic cultures, and, on the other hand, allow identifying integrative elements – common artistic and aesthetic ideas and images, and finding the features of their implementation in works of art of different countries and peoples. The object of study for future art teachers in the process of multicultural education can be «eternal images« of art, genres of works of art, musical instruments, artistic phenomena and creative practices presented in different cultures.
