Introduction. The purpose of the work is to describe the experience of a comprehensive assessment of the quality of the educational environment using the ECERS-R tool on the basis of a special (correctional) kindergarten for children with ASD «WE ARE TOGETHER« of the Federal state Autonomous educational institution of higher education «Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University«.
Materials and Methods. ECERS-R.
Results. The kindergarten specialists, being in this educational environment with complex children with ASD, rated the quality of the educational environment significantly higher. Pearsen correlation analysis showed 2 significant Pleiades – the relationship of interaction with children, interaction of parents and educators with the structuring of pedagogical work; the relationship of child care, classes with speech and thinking of children with ASD. It is revealed that space and equipment have neither positive nor negative correlations.
Discussion and Conclusion. The results obtained indicate that for a qualitative assessment of the educational environment using ECERS-R in a kindergarten with a special (correctional) orientation, this tool needs to be adapted taking into account the special educational needs of children with ASD.
