dc.description.abstract	This paper explores the application of abstract art technologies in teaching minority languages, focusing on their potential for preserving national language and culture. Using the Tatar language as a case study, we investigate how abstract art forms can engage learners on multiple levels, fostering deeper understanding and appreciation of linguistic nuances and cultural values. Visual art technologies use artistic images, which make it possible to facilitate understanding, activate students' interest and cognition, it is a powerful tool of enhancing students' motivation in language learning. The purpose of this work is to characterize the possibilities of using visual art technologies in the Tatar language lessons. This article discusses the pros and cons of implementing visual art technologies in teaching languages, based on the specific material: Sh. Shaidullin's painting «Under the Old Apple Tree«. This painting is used as a starting point for both developing students' speech skills and teaching them moral standards related to national values and beliefs. Сolour has a very powerful emotional impact on the viewers who often associate it with unique ethnic interpretation of the world image. Through works of art students discover their nation's history and traditions, which enables teacher to develop the appreciation of their national roots in the course of classroom discussions. Of primary importance in this case is the correct choice of a painting and the well-thought strategy for encouraging students' comments when they share experiences of analyzing their own feelings aroused by a work of art. The research examines the pedagogical effectiveness of these technologies in promoting language acquisition, cultural awareness, and creative expression as well.	ru_RU
