Annotation

The article raises the problem of the relationship between the two levels of social being - material and spiritual. In the conditions of the formation of the modern open information society, the ideological function of modernist cultures is eliminated due to the irreducibility of multidirectional values to a common denominator, which makes it difficult to carry out education and the formation of the necessary personality in society. Under these conditions, the ideological function automatically turns into the fold of the interests of civilization, the values of which, unlike culture, can be reduced to one common foundation - the cult of money. The last installation immerses a person into the bustling world of solving their problems of the present. Such enthusiasm for tactical tasks without a proper strategic ideological foundation leads mankind to exacerbate global problems and the threat of their destruction.
