    Аннотация This research was conducted to examine the level of students? foreign-language communicative competence and 18 it was based on general observations of the authors? pedagogical career and description of the first stage of 19 pedagogical experiment the aim of which was forming a foreign-language communicative competence of 20 students at non-linguistic departments of University. The authors presented the methodology of monitoring the 21 process of diagnosing the level and criteria of student?s foreign-language communicative competence while 22 teaching English as a foreign language. Moreover, foreign-language communicative competence the authors 23 regard consisting of several components such as regulatory, personal, organizing or managing, informative and 24 communicative.
