dc.description.abstract	The aim of the present paper is to compare the structure of phraseological and semantic microfields “Musical knowledge” and “Musical instruments” in English and Turkish languages. For the sake of convenience of classifying it we have developed a model of branching semantic lexicon structure, represented by the taxonomy. Within phraseological and semantic field “Music” in the languages under study two microfields were defined: “Musical knowledge” and “Musical instruments”. The principle of classification of the microfield “Musical instruments” is based on the most commonly used system in the west today which divides instruments into string, woodwind, brass and percussion.	ru_RU
