Аннотация

The Archaeology of the Golden Horde (second half of the 13th to first half of the 15th century) is poorly presented in western research literature; thus the present article, devoted to historiography of the archaeology of the Golden Horde. The main works of research on the topic as published between the beginning of the 20th century and today are discussed in the following. Problems not previously studied are also taken up here. The present article is the first generalized work devoted to the studied topic, making world scholars familiar with the main published works on the Golden Horde archaeology. These works, mostly written by Russian scholars, are important in the course of writing generalised works on Medieval Archaeology, as well as in artefacts studies.
