The article presents the benefits of using an electronic learning management system Moodle for assessment in the process of teaching a foreign language.
The research involves classical and modern works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of students' knowledge assessment. The authors pay special attention to using Moodle in the context of continuous assessment and evaluating final learning outcomes. Scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, systematic approach are used, and the results of students' performance obtained via Moodle platform are taken into account.
The authors emphasize the regularity of controlling (evaluating and assessment) and the multiplicity of its forms; feedback of control; the possibility of meeting the individual needs of each student, and detailed monitoring of their activities in the Moodle based electronic resources; a broad range of assessment tools; |
