    Аннотация The purpose of the study is to carry out a comprehensive research on the features of the practical application of the analytical-imitative method in correcting the typical difficulties of mastering the Russian phonetic system of the Korean students of the middle age group. The experience of working with the Korean students has revealed the most effective types of exercises during Listening classes, for instance, working on fricatives and stop consonants. Classification of tables and types of exercises such as warming-ups, the exercises during the class and the corrective types of exercises are also represented on this paper. Taking into consideration the complexity and variety of the sound patterns of the speech communication, which consists of several stages, studied by the specialists in different branches of Phonetics (i.e. substantive phonetics, linguistic phonetics).
