The modern world is on the threshold of the sixth technological order, the transition to which will cause colossal shifts in the economy throughout the world. The transition to the sixth technological order will entail the emergence of new sectors of the economy and the extinction of some of those that are now functioning. As a result of the transition, the principles of economic activity will also change due to changes in the resource base of industries, as well as the principles of management.
This article identifies the problems associated with the transition to a new technological order, and also proposes an approach to managing this process. |
