Development of three-dimensional models of tumor tissues is of particular interest for studying different aspects of cancer progression and therapy. Effective formation of tumor-like structures in vitro requires optimization of matrix structure as well as conditions for cell seeding and culturing. We aimed to develop a prototype of tumor model by combining gelatin based macroporous cryogels and different cancer cells. |
