Аннотация

In this article, we consider phraseological units with biblical characters, consisting of precedent names denoting ideal qualities represented by a particular biblical character. Undoubtedly, biblical characters also belong to religious components, such as: Dolorosa (Virgin Mary), Magdalena (Magdalene), Judas (Judas), etc. The purpose of the work is the knowledge of the intangible religious heritage of the Spanish language and the awareness of the important role of Christianity embodied in the Spanish language. The Christian religion, in its complexity and significant, diverse historical figures, becomes an instrument that builds a portrait of characters, characterizes situations in various fields and evaluates, positively or negatively, the environment of current life. Spanish coexists side by side with the Christian religion, sometimes we do not realize that we use expressions that have it at its core. Biblical passages from the Old and New Testaments provide archetypes that condense the truth of life and are erected in exemplary schemes to direct or describe the error and mystery of the human path in numerous situations of their earthly life.
