Communication methods for successful mentoring
Mentoring wants to accompany, not advise. Promote, not challenge. Justify, not persuade. Support, not instruct. Offer dialogue, not instruments. Professionalize, not be a master craftsman's apprenticeship. Co-construction at eye level. In mentoring, we interact when we educate.
When teachers operate in dialogue, starting a career becomes a career advancement for learners and teachers, not a transition – students also become dialogue partners.
This mentoring continuation volume reflects on approaches from history to the digital challenges of communication. |
