Аннотация

The paper deals with the issue of stressing in English general professional juridical terms ending in -ee. The need to study the issue is determined by the presence of lexical units in which stress is placed on different syllables, which causes a distortion of pronunciation. The research results can make a certain contribution both to pedagogical, and to linguistic science. The aim of the work is to carry out a linguistic analysis of the lexical units of the legal sphere with -ee at the end of a word.
