Аннотация |
The article is a continuation of a series of works dealing with implicitness and considers some implicit verb structures in the Tatar language. While the Passive Voice is common for most languages, the Causative Voice and Reciprocal Voice can be often met in Türkic languages, being very productive in producing implicit structures. We study implicitness on the material of the Tatar language and conclude that these three grammar voices contain regular implicit meanings. We also draw parallels with English and other languages, for example, the article reviews some similar structures in English which also contain implicit components, namely, the verb construction “to have (get) something done” and the “medium case”. We conclude that the implicitness of the subject of action in these sentences contributes to the actualization of the action and its characteristics. We also conclude that the implicitness of the subject in sentences with these three grammar voices makes utterances more economical and expressive, removing the components which are insignificant for the communication act. |
