Abstract:
Telehealth in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 requires doctors to use a new plan of communicative skills in medical practice: good diction, the ability to conduct interviews with a patient, active listening skills, summing up, empathy, acting techniques.
The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the communication mechanisms of medical students with patients in a telehealth setting. in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The leading method of the study: Test «Assessment of communicative skills« by A.A. Karelin (Karelin, 2001); I.M. Yusupov's Ability to Empathy Test (Ilyin2004); Online simulators «Formation of communicative competencies of a doctor« (Kamalova & Gaifullina, 2022).
For diagnosis according to the test of A.A. Karelin, 14 questions were used that characterized the skills of communicative communication with the patient: the amount is less than 30 points - it is necessary to increase communicative competence; 30 to 60 points - some unsatisfactory aspects of communication; over 60 points - confident possession of a communicative minimum. In the test «Ability to Empathy« by I.M. Yusupov, 36 statements must be answered. The «Scale of Lies« includes «don't know« responses to statements 3, 9, 11, 13, 28, 36 and «yes, always« responses to paragraphs 11, 13, 15, 27. Three or less coincidences with the «scale of lies« are reliable results; four matches with the scale - a dubious result; 5 or more matches - an unreliable result. You must add the total points for the following items: 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 32.
Online simulators «Formation of communicative competencies of a doctor« consist of 6 blocks and are evaluated according to the criteria: high level - from 76 to 100 points; average level - from 50 to 75 points; low level - from 26 to 49 points; very low level - from 0 to 25 points.
