The life of society is changing a lot under the influence of digital transformation, so people have new ways of communication. The emergence of new forms and formats of education allows us to remotely obtain advanced knowledge and requires the development of new skills, increasing the competencies of digital literacy, working with the latest technologies that will allow young people to remain in demand in the labor market. In this regard, it is of particular importanceto consider the problems of developing the human resources potential of young people as a social cohort, which is one of the main components of the able-bodied population, the engine of the economy and production.The article is devoted to the consideration of the currently relevant topic of development of youth personnel potential in the context of digital transformation. The purpose of this study was, on the basis of the data obtained, to assess the prospects for the development of human resources potential of young people, taking into account the opportunities that have appeared in the process of digitalization of educational space.The article presents the results of sociological research (a mass questionnaire survey and an Internet survey of student youth) conducted in 2021 as part of a research topic: «Development of a scientifically based conceptual model for countering the dependent behavior of adolescents and student youth«. Based on the obtained data of sociological research, the article examines the attitude and readiness of young people to work and study online, determines the role of digital transformation of education in the development of the human resources potential of young people. In the course of the research, the Internet preferences and Internet practice of modern young people are studied. Summing up, it can be said that today developed digital technologies provide additional opportunities for professional development, the choice of an individual trajectory of

Developing methods and approaches working with young people in the framework of the development of the educational environment, it is necessary to proceed from an understanding of the goals, objectives, priorities and preferences of young people themselves, as well as the requirements of the modern labor market. |
