In pedagogical science, feedback is defined as “a product of analysis, reflection and observation, received by the teacher from himself and from partners in joint activities”. Feedback determines human behavior in the system of «subject-subject relations«, where the effect is achieved due to the teacher's ability to timely respond to changes in students' behavior. Feedback is also enables a teacher to realize how teaching practice can be improved, and which teaching and learning strategies are more likely to be effective. Early feedback is a very important component of interpersonal communication between the teacher and students, the interaction in the classroom at all times. Tests and different tasks on the discipline are aimed at revealing only the level of students' acquisition of knowledge on academic disciplines. And feedback between the teacher and students with the use of questionnaire, “Diary of the Group” allows the interaction between the students and the teacher. The effective feedback between the teacher and students affords a pleasant dialogue with the other members of the group, building foreign communicative competence and stimulates their personal growth, self-education and self-discipline. Feedback is also enables a teacher to realize how teaching practice can be improved, and which teaching and learning strategies are more likely to be effective.
In this article, the questionnaires are purposefully compiled in a foreign language. The examples of questionnaires developed by us will help teachers to identify students' degree of mastering a foreign language, their willingness to apply the knowledge gained for practical purposes, and to understand the preferences of students, their interests, hobbies, values in life. Thus, the teacher will receive data for the implementation of student-centered learning. To maintain regular feedback with students in foreign language classes, we have developed a questionnaire in the form of a table. |
