Аннотация

We derive the Polubarinova–Galin equation for unsteady Hele-Shaw flows in the case when the flow region has two free boundaries. We find two variants of this equation. To test both variants of the equation, we analyzed an example of the evolution of a “liquid ring” in a Hele-Shaw cell under the action of a fixed pressure drop inside and outside the ring.
