Background. Socialization of children is a key task of preschool education. It begins with interaction of children with adults and peers. In the process of interpersonal interaction preschool children have their communication skills formed normally, but with impaired development there is a low level of formation of speech communication It is especially pronounced in the structure of predictive ability of preschool children with severe speech disorders.
Objective. To determine the speech and communication features of prediction in children with speech violation in the conditions of a preschool educational institution.Results. We have detected that preschool children with speech disorders are able to anticipate future events, but predicting utterances (M=11.30) and emotions (M=3.60) is still a weakness in children with this nosology. Children with general underdevelopment of speech are not able to use linguistic means in accordance with a suggested situation.
