Аннотация |
A constant current coulometric titration method was proposed for controlling the quality of pharmaceutical substances, raw medicinal plant materials (RMPM), and their based preparations. The method advantages associated with the possible automation of measurements, the absence of stages of titrant standardization and calibration graph construction were considered. The sum of organic acids in RMPM was estimated from their reactions with electrogenerated hydroxide ions in water, by using potassium sulfate as an electrolyte and by testing the validity of titration by the reference titer ?Hydrochloric Acid?. Bromine was electrochemically generated from potassium bromide in 0.M sulfuric acid; iodine from potassium iodide in hydrogen chloride buffer solution, and hypoiodite ions from potassium iodide in phosphate buffer solution at pH 9.8, by testing the validity of titration by the reference titer ?Sodium hyposulfite 5-hydrate?. Electrogenerated iodine was proposed for the determination of the content of ascorbic acid in the rosehip preparations and hypoiodite ions for that of tannins in RMPM. The electrogenerated hydroxide ions and bromine were used for assay of pharmaceutical substances. |
