The article explores basic features of postgraduate teacher education in Canada, the country that provides strong quality assurance and accreditation process and also internationally recognized degree-level studies. The authors analyse the structure of continuous teacher experiences on the example of universities known as the Group of Thirteen (G13) and define its significance in professional pedagogical education. These institutions are among the most research-intensive in the country and specialize in offering joint research and internationally educated professional programs.
The study highlights the significant role of research integration into teaching as the main feature which is implemented in numerous courses.
