dc.description.abstract	The article discusses the concept of information and communication competence of the teacher of biology that is associated with the introduction into educational syst em of methods and means of ICT. The article consideres the conditions which are necessary forproviding of improvement of quality of continuous professional pedagogical education with the introduction of ICT. Also pointed out competencies which the teacher of biology should know in a modern education system because an effective and efficient form of development of ICT competence of future teachers of biology is studying of special discipline. The article consideres the program of the subject "Using of information and communicative technologies in teaching of biology" which is intended on using for training of future teachers of biology and professional development of employed teachers.	ru_RU
