dc.description.abstract	The treaty-constitutional arrangements in the realm of the Russian federal system in the last decade of the XX-th century led to rethinking of the terms of statehood, sovereignty, unit of a federation, self-determination, associated state. The present research is aimed at defining the associated state in terms of contemporary international law taking into account the associated relationships of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation (1992-2000) and determining the role and place it deserves in the system of the subjects of international law.	ru_RU
