Annotation |
The relevance of the proposed subject is determined by changes in modern widely distributed communication technologies. The impact of news on people is of particular importance today. The advent of the Internet and its active use become one of the key sources of radical transformation of mass society. In this context it becomes urgent to consider the transformation of mass society, caused by the expansion of the network communication, and to identify tendencies of its development. Investigating the specificity of understanding of such phenomena as the mass, the crowd, and the audience the author refers to the works by theorists of mass society, such as G. Le Bon, G. Tarde, Ortega y Gasset, S. Moscovici, E. Canetti, J. Baudrillard, P. Virno, A. Bard, J. Zoderkvist. Works by E.N. Kniazeva, developing the ideas of determination of the cognitive activity of the individual features of the physical organization (embodied cognition approach) are important for the research.
