Annotation |
The relevance of the theme due to the fact that since independence of India, the problem of poverty in the country remains a matter of serious concern.
Social inequality in the country in a certain way affects its system of education. In this context, this article aims at consideration of public policy for primary and secondary education in the Republic of India concerning the poorest segments of society at the turn of the XX-XX (I) centuries and the identification of common results.
Leading method to the study of this problem is a historical-comparative method that based on historical sources associate the data on State programs in primary and secondary education among the poorest segments of the population and identify growth or fall of literacy among the Indian population.
The results are presented in the article, showing the impact of the economic, cultural and mental processes occurring in the Republic of India at the turn of XX-XX (I) centuries on the availability of |
