The article presents a theoretical analysis of the ethical aspects of obtaining
empirical data in education studies based on psychological techniques. The conduct
of psychological research in the pedagogy is connected with a number of ethical
questions. The article presents an analysis of the results of empirical research on
pedagogy on the basis of summarizing the conclusions and evaluative judgments of
teachers and research psychologists. The personal maturity of the experimenter is
regarded as an important condition of professionalism and the condition of safety of
the respondents. The emphasis is on ethical psychological principles (competence,
decency, professional, scientific, social responsibility, respect for human rights,
concern for the well-being of respondents). Possible aspects of harm in the process of
pedagogical experiment to different subjects related to the study and its results are
also considered. |
