Annotation On the basis of experimental studies technological plasma electroheat installation with liquid cathode for materials surface hardening has been designed and developed. The device provides a plasma jet with temperature up to 3000 ? C and up to 100 mm in length. Developed installation improves the efficiency of the process and ensures the stability of quality indicators.
Keywords low-temperature plasma, electrical discharge, surface hardening, liquid cathode, electroheat installation, microhardness, voltage-current characteristic
