    Annotation Wedding ceremonies play an important role in family rituals. The main stages in different ethnic groups in accordance with the local tradition could change places or several stages united in one. Given the fact that the territory of the Tatars is quite extensive, under the influence of neighboring ethnic groups and geographical location, there are functional and semantic differences in this group of vocabulary, the wedding vocabulary of Tatars living in Tatarstan and in the East-Kazakhstan region has been chosen for study.
