dc.description.abstract	The new data from Basu show that the FADs of D. donetzianus and Dip. ellesmerensis lie in approximately the same stratigraphic interval. However, the typical morphotype of D. donetzianus (as in the holotype) has large additional nodes, and does not represent the earliest sculpted stage, as it was preceded by morphotypes with one very small node, which presumably gradually increased in size in the course of evolution. Therefore, the Limestone K1 in the Donets Basin (NEMYROVSKA 2017) and the Aljutovo Formation in the Moscow Basin do not correspond to the level of the earliest evolutionary appearance of ornamented morphotypes of Declinognathodus.	ru_RU
