Annotation |
A simple and convenient two-step pathway to the synthesis of triaryl(dihydroxyphenyl)- and triaryl(dihydroxynaphthyl)phosphonium salts was developed. The reaction proceeds in mild conditions (20С, CH2Cl2) with high yields (88-95%). The process involves the initial formation of triarylphosphonium Trifluoroacetates which subsequently interact with thymoquinone and 1,4-naphthoquinone. |
Keywords |
tertiaryphosphine, 1,4-naphthoquinone, tetraarylphosphonium salt, thymoquinone, H-phosphonium salt |
