The number of game applications and visualizations on the Unity game engine is growing noticeably. Hence, the requirement of testing application data is essential to ensure that all products in the market are of good quality. Applications can be tested manually or automatically. Test automation uses a test tool to automatically run and validate test cases. Such a tool usually is not native to the application that is causing problems with the feature recognition interactions because of the abundance, or conversely the lack of GUI elements. This paper describes the process of designing and developing a test automation tool that provides accurate recognition of interaction elements by decorating the standard input reading mechanisms of the Unity game engine. |
