    Annotation Mitochondrial dysfunction is one of the key mechanisms of neuronal death during cerebral ischemia. Therefore we explored ultrastructural and functional mitochondrial changes induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) in slices of the rat barrel cortex in vitro.
