dc.description.abstract	This article attempts to consider one of the key principles of the rule of law state, which is the principle of the unity of law. They analyzed the opinions of scholars who define this principle and highlight its main features. Also, the article provides an attempt to compare the principle of the unity of law with the principles of the rule of law, their general features and main differences are highlighted. Conclusions are made that the categories of “rule of law” are understood by various authors very differently and subjectively, there is no consolidation in the definition of this concept; often the above principles contradict each other: they express either the statics or the dynamics of the rule of law, thereby requiring additional doctrinal legal awareness and study; in modern socio-political conditions, it would be better to use the unity of law as the principle of the rule of law; it is the principle of the unity of law that can provide effective and rational protection and realization of the rights and freedoms of a man, societies and states.	ru_RU
