The article identifies and characterizes creative forms and multimedia methods of presenting information to attract and retain the attention of the audience. Most of the editorial offices of Russian media have been operating in market conditions for more than thirty years, creative teams have to come up with different ways to promote news and analytics in order to withstand competition. In every region of Russia there are also state-owned media, which are financed from the taxes of its residents. The authors of the article studied seven Russian-language mass media of various forms of ownership popular among residents of the Republic of Tatarstan. Currently, to create an effective, that is, capable of causing a public outcry, media text, the creative skills of the author and his abilities when working with information are not enough. Applying the methods of a content-analysis, a structural and a comparative analysis of sources, we have identified the occasional use of modern multimedia formats and methods of information presentation by the editorial offices of the Republic of Tatarstan, the authors of articles and editorial teams continue to focus on long texts with photographs with minimal visual range. We believe this practice can contribute to the process of further loss of interest and trust of the audience in local and regional journalism, strengthening its attention in favor of alternative types of communication (social networks and messengers) without claims to the quality of information distributed on these Internet resources. The editorial offices of the media will continue to lose the audience and advertising revenue, which is currently not enough. Some media outlets (of regional or city significance) may have to leave the market. |
