Annotation The report examines the relief elements of the Aitken crater floor, located on the northern edge of the giant South Pole-Aitken basin on the far side of the Moon. The main attention is paid to the structure of the central peak of the crater and the glacier-like tongue sliding down from it, as well as other details of the crater floor east of the central peak in the area of the so-called «bulbous fields«, where small crater (D =4.3) with an unusual structure was found. For the first time, these objects were examined in detail on the basis of 3D-model developed by the authors using high-resolution orbital images of the Moon obtained by the Zond-6 and Zond-8 spacecraft. Hypotheses explaining the formation of Aitken crater and the relief of its bottom, which indicates the very young age of the crater and the shock wave processes occurring in the crater, are discussed. Shock wave processes occur on the Moon constantly and everywhere, but they are more noticeable in young craters than in other parts of its surface.
