dc.description.abstract	Geopolitical realities in the modern world economy are currently able to have a significant impact on industrial development in the national economic system and on the transformation of the directions of industrial development of individual territories, on the effectiveness of the implementation of tools and methods of innovative and industrial policy of the state. The research purpose is to identify features of implementation and transformation processes of formation of industrial development in the Russian economic system. This goal requires solving problems of identifying the role of the innovation process in the development of the economic system and building an algorithm for assessing the industrial development of a territory in order to determine the priorities and directions of implementation of import substitution and innovation processes. To achieve the set goal, the methods of comparison, generalization, empirical analysis are used. The results of the study determine the significance and role of the development of the innovative segment of the economy in the development of the economic system as a whole, define stages of the algorithm for assessing the industrial development of the territory taking into account new geopolitical realities, identify possible scenarios of industrial development of the territory in the choice of appropriate tools for assessing the variability of sanctions pressure. The results of the study can be used in practical activities in the implementation of the state industrial policy, in the assessment of industrial development of a particular region.	ru_RU
