dc.description.abstract	The heyday of oil production and the use of petroleum products began in the twentieth century. Since then, production volumes have been increasing until 2020, when, in light of the cumulative effect of economic restrictions agreed upon by OPEC countries and the COVID-19 pandemic, the decline in oil production led to a crisis of energy resources and petroleum products. Over the past hundred years, oil production on a global scale has become a source of economic efficiency for exporting countries and a basic need for importing countries. Oil production, transportation, and refining are a giant reservoir of jobs and material resources. In this regard, it is necessary to understand that problems in this area entail a series of economic and social issues that require forecasting and timely solutions. In order to predict, a non-stop process of analyzing the current situation and operating with fresh data from global and regional processes is necessary. The primary tool is statistics.	ru_RU
