Annotation

В статье исследуются процессы формирования традиций освободительного движения тюрко-мусульманских народов Российской империи (XVI – начало XX вв.). На основе изучения источников (дипломатических документов, законов и постановлений российского правительства, мемуарной литературы, периодической печати, произведений народных лидеров и др.) автор пришёл к выводу о значимой роли этно-конфессионального фактора, предопределившего широкие апелляции российских мусульман к единоверцам и соплеменникам, как за границей, так и внутри страны. Они опирались на глубинные представления о религиозном единстве и единых этнических корнях тюрко-мусульманских народов. This article examines the processes of formation of traditions of the liberation movement of the Turkic-Muslim peoples of the Russian Empire (XVI - beginning of XX centuries). Based on the study of sources (diplomatic documents, laws and resolutions of the Russian government, memoir literature, periodicals, works of national leaders, and others), the author came to the conclusion that the significant role of ethno-confessional factor, predestined broad appeal of Russian Muslims to the Muslims and Turkic peoples, both abroad and inside the country. They relied on indepth views about a religious unity and common ethnic roots of the Turkic-Moslem peoples.
